I will recommend this product to anyone who is interested in developing at a deeper level in term of channeling.

There are three CD's available in this series, Meditation, Self-Hypnosis and this one. All of them follow the same format: an introduction to whom Edgar Cayce was, a definition of the topic and finally at the very end, a short guided meditation followed by more talking that instructs you on the benefits of using the meditation often. I'm a great fan of Cayce, but this series completely ignores the needs of the listener who in all likelihood knows who Cayce was, wouldn't be considering the CD if they didn't understand the topic and is anxious to hear the meditation they "thought" they were buying. Unfortunately the CD is 90% annoying, condescending discussion and 10% meditation. I would recommend Sylvia Browne's Tools for Life over anything in this series. She has some nice meditations on several of her audio books and unlike the narration on this CD, the talk portion is very entertaining.

About the Author

LUISA CAPETILLO was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, in 1879 to working class parents. She worked in cigar factories as a reader, where she first became active in labor organizing. A committed activist, Capetillo traveled throughout Puerto Rico, the United States, and Cuba to contribute to the international labor movement. She wrote extensively both for the Spanish press, notably in La Mujer, a short-lived feminist working-class magazine that she founded. She is the author of many works relating to her ideas, among them Ensayos libertarios (1907), La humanidad en el futuro (1910), Verdad y justicia: Cuento de Navidad para ninos (1910), and Influencias de las ideas modernas (1916). LARA WALKER is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Houston whose dissertation examines Luisa Capetillo's textual production and praxis as modes of resistance to hegemonic structures.

Libro muy interesante que, junto al tomo anterior, recopila los escritos de la anarquista, antes que feminista como se pretende presentar en la actualidad, portoriqueña Luisa Capetillo. Reflejo de una época convulsa, en Capetillo vemos reflejado el ansias de libertad que queda reflejada en la anécdota de su fotografía de la cubierta, tomada en la Habana cuando fue expulsada de Cuba por vestir con atuendos de masculinos.Recomendable su lectura para comprender su pensamiento, se echa en falta que la introducción no se haya traducido igualmente al castellano.

Excellent translation and well put together. I wished this would have been done years ago. This gives a better feeling of what Capetillo experienced than what Ferrer has written about her.
