The book is awsome I love 5 seconds of summer. Will Smith would approve

I bought this book for my daughter (and ok a little bit for myself too) and I was really impressed. It is not a cheap, flimsy book. It is a high quality hard cover book with quality glossy paper. The stories and the photos are great. While it is geared towards "kids", it really is more for teens and not tweens as the boys can be teenage boys, and I mean that in a funny way. Thankfully they don't sanitize things too much, which would have taken away from how the guys are with their fans. I read the whole book and I enjoyed it a lot, and of course my daughter did as well. I think that any 5SOS fan would enjoy this, so if you are a parent looking for a gift, this would be a great one, and it will also get your kid to read if that's an issue.

loved this book to bits! It came on time and was in great shape. Whether you are a fan or not, this book is super interesting and funny. I didn't want to ever put it down! I am a massive fan of 5sos and this book made me so proud of their accomplishments. If you have been a fan for a while, you probably won't learn anything new, but to be honest there's loads of great pictures that you could take out and put on your wall after you've finished reading to your heart's content. Also, the book is a hardback and the protective paper covering over it is the poster that they say comes with the book. (just thought I'd add that)

This would a great addition for any fan of 5SOS. I've already read the book from cover to cover twice and can honestly say that because I'm fan I enjoyed learning some things I didn't know about 5SOS back story. The pictures in the book are also great too.

I admit, my rating is a bit biased. I'm a huge 5SOS fan. guilty as charged. but it really was good. I loved it. I owe these boys my life. they did save my life. I wouldn't be here, the person I am today, without them. anyone who tells me that's stupid, well, I'm glad you didn't have to struggle with anything like this. life sucks, and I'm glad it was good to you. it wasn't very good to me, and this band saved me. I fell in love with each of them more and more every word, and with them as a whole a lot more. so, perfect 5/5 is only fair for this book.

I was a huge 5SOS fan at the time I bought this. It's cool, but now I don't know why I bought it because I have never read it again lol.

This is a happy and a generous book.In it the former Happy Days star talks about his life, its challenges, and his joy in living it and overcoming the challenges.For Winkler, fishing is a source of joy, but also instruction in how life ought best to be lived, and a metaphor as to the meaning of what really is important.What does it teach?Confidence, intuition, patience, perseverance, focus - all qualities that were needed for the author to rise above the negative scripting of perfectionistic, almost abusive parents (their nickname for him was Dumb Dog).It's an exploration of reaching one's potential. Winkler comes across as a man who knows himself, is grounded in this knowledge, and is living life to the fullest.I particularly enjoyed the photography (nature photography is another of Winkler's passions) and the way in which they complement the text.Reading this is an uplifting experience.

I have long admired Henry Winkler as an actor, and I am even a fan of his children's books Hank Zipzer Collection. When I saw that he had this book, I purchased it immediately.I have never been fly fishing, but still I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Although the book deals mostly with his fishing trips, it is more about life and appreciating it than it is a "how to" guide. He also uses his own photographs of the beauty around him to illustrate the book. All of the photographs are great, but some of them are just absolutely breath-taking. I did not know that Henry Winkler was such a wonderful photographer, but add that to his other list of amazing talents.Overall, the book was fun and easy to read, but it was definitely a great read. The last chapter was especially inspirational to me, personally. Henry Winkler is an amazing person, and this book shows that. I'm glad I bought this book.

If you're a fly fisherperson (which I am) you will find this book has very little about fly fishing, and all about Mr. Winkler's spoiled kids. Not recommended to people who fly fish.

This book is simply delightful. You don't have to be a fly fisherman or a photographer to enjoy it and learn from it. Anyone who has ever had their souls crushed will find paths to renewal in this book. Finding lessons all around him, Mr. Winkler shares his revelations with us in the most charming way. Beautifully written and, at times, laugh out loud funny. This book is for fly fishermen, photographers, and anyone who has ever struggled in life.

My kids grew up with the Fonz and I enjoy Henry's work. This fishing memoir is his tribute to the benefits trout fishing with a fly rod brings to one's life, those benefits that don't smell like fish. Beautiful photos and heartfelt remembrances. Keep fishing Henry!

In fact both are so silly and so caricatured as the damaged girl and the impossibly beautiful Alpha male rehashing the same misunderstandings over and over again, that I found myself wanting to slap both of them. Finishing the book became a testament to perseverance rather than an exercise in pleasure.My advice? If you liked the Fever series, download SAMPLES of the Highlander series before you buy as these were some of her first offerings as a published author. Her inexperience shows like a droopy slip in this series.

While the Hawk begins to fall for his wife, Adrienne remains committed to not being foolish again.The two have to confront Adrienne's distrust, Hawk's painful past and lovers, and the enmity of the Fae.OPINION: I thought this book was an intriguing mix of genres. That was one of its great strengths because it felt intriguing and fresh. It was also its greatest weakness because the mix didn't always mesh well. In the years since this book was written, many authors have taken to the mixing of genres and this early innovator suffers a bit in comparison. That being said, I enjoyed the romance and the interaction between the characters and I am willing to read more of the series to see how Moning developed the mixture of genres in future books.The interaction between Adrienne and Hawk was a highlight of the book for me. Hawk was not what I expected in the book. It was especially nice to see such a strong, sexy, handsome historical character who really just wanted peace and a family. I liked how Hawk is a little clueless about how to have a relationship with Adrienne and continues to make mistakes that complicate his courtship. The book contains an interesting twist about his reputation with women that gives him a sympathetic past. At the same time, his painful past was written in a lighter fashion than I generally prefer. Despite his history (and that of Adrienne as well) the emphasis in the book is on the present story. While the characters have a history, it is quickly subsumed in the drama of the present.Adrienne is a modern woman who is swept into the past. One of the problems I had with the book was that she didn't seem to have any trouble with adapting to the past. There was little time paid to the disorientation that would have to result. (I thought that the similar A KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR by Jude Deveraux did a better job with dealing with that complication). But this book seems to be more of a paranormal fantasy book in that regard than a true time-travel.As for the romance, I loved it and really connected with the characters. If this had been written as a historical or time-travel book, I might have given it a higher rating. At the same time, the paranormal elements are what make this book unique and memorable. I just felt that this book reads as a historical/time-travel in which the paranormal elements were not integrated as well. The Fae seem a bit disjointed from the rest of the book because they remain without a true history or world. There is some of the feel of Shakespeare's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM where the fairies interfere with the mortal world, but the Fae here feel less developed than I need to truly love this book.While I didn't love this book, I was intrigued and fascinated by it and the possibilities as the author developed her craft further. This was my first book by Moning, but I definitely will continue reading the series.WORTH MENTIONING: This book mixes paranormal, historical and time-travel. It definitely pushes the boundaries of what can be expected in one romance book.CONNECTED BOOKS: BEYOND THE HIGHLAND MIST is the first book in the Highlander series.STAR RATING: I give this book 3.5 stars.

This was a great book and very well written, BUT it definitely was not a book would read again. I rated the 5 stars because it deserved it and not because it was my kind of read. I can see how most would love this book.The h was a complete B up to 65% of the book and I really hated that. There was reason but I just don't like that in what is supposed to a romance novel. The H was so wonderful to her and she was so awful no matter what he did. I have a real problem with that. Maybe up to 35% would have been fine but not 65 to 70% of a book. It's just not what I like to read. I finished simply because there were so many other things to enjoy. My heart truly went out to the H. Half the time I spent wishing he would just throw the h over a cliff. To be honest I never really felt like the h was good enough for the H. I realize that many people would have rated the book MUCH lower if they felt the way I did about the h, but I don't see that as being fair to the author. The h was just a personal preference in a romance. I'm truly on the fence about reading the next book in the series simply based on my hate of the h, BUT there were so many good aspects of this book that it leaves me wanting to read the next. I only hope the h in the next one isn't anywhere near as awful as the one in the first book.If your looking for a book filled with great sex scenes this book is not the one for you. Nothing happens until 70% and considering the H is supposed to be sex god it sorely lacked in that department. When it FINALLY happened it was not at all what I expected. That gave me another reason to be on the fence about reading the next in the series. I know there are people who don't like much sex in their reads, so if your fine with that then you'll love this book.
