This story has strong characters with a strong storyline. It is filled with love, healing, forgiveness, and restoration. Life is full of many struggles that we face that are difficult to go through, however, I can't even imagine going through what happened to this young woman or anyone in today's society going through similar circumstances and coming out a whole person. It only be by the grace of God that a woman could come through something like this and be able go on with a normal life.
I enjoyed book 2 much more than book 1 in this series. Lance and Hope found love in the aftermath of the drama that had happened to Hope. The devastating drama that happened to Hope in book one concluded with the punishment of the Indians from book one. I will definitely read the next book in the series.
This book 2 shows how God’s love can overcome anything even hate from rape, murder and assault! Hope has been through more than any women should bear, but God shows her that no matter what she went through, He knows and still loves her and has happiness planned for her life. Can’t wait to read book 3 about Mercy!!
Another great book by Peterson. The glue of this series are 3 sisters who have faced more than their share of misery. With prayer and inner strength they find more joy in Oregon. Love is in the air, and even the most terrible memories can be soothed by love...including God's love.
Loved this book. It was hard to put it down. I read most of it the first night. It flows very well and the language is easy to read. The story is interesting especially if you like stories from the frontier days. I bought the whole series and just finished reading the last book.
Working through her anger and fear, Hope became the courageous woman she was always meant to be. Lance's gentleness and non-judgemental attitude were exactly what Hope needed from him.
This story was just beginning to unfold in Treasured Grace , but the heartbreaking truth is painful and a true reality. God can change hearts and make them new again.
This is really amazing in how it all comes together. Tracie is such a good author. It was easy to follow. I recommend this to all who like action and adventure along with romance.
