I usually love Rough Guides, but the format of this book makes it impossible to read, to browse, to dream over. The cover only opens a few inches, so it's difficult to read the print close to the binding. I tried to press the seam back, but that had no effect whatsoever. I even tried to tear the book into quarters, so I could focus just on the places I know I want to travel to, but the whole thing seems to have been stuck together with cement. Moreover, the type in the sidebar boxes is pale gray, so hard to read. In despair I tossed the whole thing in the trash and ordered the Lonely Planet version.
Everything you need to know. It's a hefty book, so we're debating whether we'll take it with, but it's an invaluable planning resource. Rough Guides definitely outshine Lonely Planet in terms of being well researched and impartial.

Not good!! Bad layout content jumps around not much detail!! Get the lonely planet guide its much better!!!
