I didn't pay attention to content - my bad. One thing I am looking for is a guideline on book age appropriateness. I was looking for my 2 year old granddaughter.I'll keep the book for a later gift. I'd say 4 years and older. Meanwhile I'll keep looking. She hates people messing with her hair so I was hoping for something fun to bridge an understanding. Her hair is beautiful and wild, but sometimes we need to tame it for the day.

Since reading this book with my 3 year old, she has had the confidence to tell 4 adults not to touch her hair! We love this book! It teaches them about consent. I’ve told her many times what this book says, but I think seeing a little girl with hair like her, dealing with the same issue, helped it sink in.
